Here are all of my TF toys that remain from my childhood. Other than the Soundwave, which is a reissue (gift from my wife) and OPs trailer that I recently acquired on ebay, everything else was something I played with as a kid :) .

    Let's see yours!

Your picture isnt showing, my friend.

Got to go with my G1 Six Shot. Don't have any pics since he is in temporary storage but he has survived some rough play growing up. His guns are gone and he could use some reprolabels, but there is absolutely nothing broken on him.

Looks like Starscream was your favorite! How did you manage to retain so many in good condition?

I know it sounds trite, and of course everyone will say the same, but I loved them so much. I never smacked them together, I'm not even sure I spent a whole lot of time doing massive battles. I know I loved the way they looked and so tried to maintain that. I had them from about 6 years old upwards too so I wasn't exactly an older child playing with toys.

    :lol  :lol

I still keep my first childhood TF, Mirage (birthday gift, 1984) in an honored place in my display case, worn paint, busted (and glued) foot, and all.

(next to a pristine Mirage cobbled together from three Botcon buys :)  )

I don't have a ton of childhood G1 that hasn't been replaced/supplanted by something reissued/newer/cleaner, but it seems like the 1986-and-up stuff is usually the most bulletproof.

image.jpeg Here are mine! Collected G1 from 1984-1987. I've got Metroplex and Trypticon on another shelf. Optimus, Megatron, Prowl, and Shockwave didn't survive.
