    Howdy peeps,

just thought i would show off my custom i made of my fav g1 character, Jazz!

This bad boy took a darn long time to make, a lot of experimenting and TLC went into it!

One of the sweetest Jazz customs I've seen yet. I really like how you not only molded the front, but the rear as well. And that leg fix is a nice touch too. Couple of questions though. In one of the pictures, it looks as if the parts that are painted black are a little worn. Were you going for that look, or is that just the light playing tricks on me? And do the leg parts you scratch built actually go inside the car during transformation? Did I mention that this is one of the sweetest Jazz I've seen? :D

One of the BEST TFU Jazz customs I have seen. Very well thought out in bringing out the very essence of Jazz:thumbs2:

Damn that is so sick! The car mode is just amazing. Bot mode is a great homage to the original although I'm not that into the way the feet turned out. I mean I know G1 Jazz had some odd feet but I'd prefer a more foot feel from them. Good luck on that auction. I wouldn't be surprised if bidding went over $300

Hi guys ! thanks for the great words, im glad you like him, he got a LOT of attention for a long time to get where he got so to speak! hehe.

There is slight weathering using some citadels on his black sections, you are correct =) All parts that aren't weapons go inside, it required some extra modding of his feet naturally, but with some folding it all goes in!

I did exaggerate the rear wheel guards more than needed, cuz i like them like that LOL. I had to indulge on my fav g1r!

I hope it reaches that price as well LOL. I am in sorry need of funds for getting more toys! So feel free to bid high hard and fast ! heh.

As for more pics, now im home i can do that ! Sorry to the mods for taking easy route and linking to ebay auction, it already had all the pics there so was an easy cut n paste!

    now to add pics.....

    Thanks again!

Hey man, it's cool. You're new, so just keep making yourself familiar with Radicons :)

Here's the thread on posting images: http://www.tfw2005.com/radicons-customs/the-radicons-blog-18/new-radicons-improvements-2-19-08-164313/ Just review it and edit your initial post when you figure it out :)

Our reasoning for images is not to make things more complicated, but we want to host photos on our server. This way, threads don't end up having dead links and our threads always have robust content :)  Radicons is a community, but also a resource for artists and fans alike.

I believe it's a modded head. From the looks of it, it looks like Prowl's upper head, but the cheek things look like they're from Sunstreaker. I could be wrong though.

Hi guys, thanks ! Im glad hes so appreciated! =-)

Uh, tutorial on chip free paint, not sure I would be any good at saying something, but the base coat of jazz' white was all spray can krylon fusion, just applied in several light coats. The others were hand brushed citadels and tamiyas, but thinned so to not leave lines so much!
lol the internet makes showing thngs to interested people more fun, thats for sure!

Close on the head, it was sunstreaker, prowl, styrene and putty lol. Very fiddly, and Im sure I can get it better again, in fact, I just want to keep trying at him till i think its perfect now LOL. COnsidering this one is now selling on ebay I will have to make one for myself regardless, perhaps with the improvements i keep thinking of when going to sleep at night! hehe

I want to post up pics of my wheeljck that I had just finished putting last decal on, so might play with the image thing now ! thanks again everyone!

    [ATT]16829[/ATT]

You can also post the images of the ones you uploaded after you post them.

Simply scroll the mouse over the pic you want and there will be a 5-digit number at the end.

Then put that number in the main body text with tags [ATT ]number[ /ATT] around it (omit the spaces i added to it)

in the case of the pic i posted the number is 16829

This avoids having to click on the pictures to upsize them
