Custom - Transformers Studio Series G1 Jazz
    [IMG]

My last custom - Studio Series Soundwave met with such a warm reception that I have decided to find him a company. That's why today I continue my Studio Series G1 line with Jazz!

Similarly to the Soundwave, I was not too keen on another silver robot, so I have decided to do something with it and instead changed this bad boy into pearl white and metallic blue beast. I also added some gun-metal to compliment the look.

Robot mode is also highly inspired by G1 with a bit of twist. I have added a ton of painted mechanical details, which in my opinion completely change this figure. I also painted windows black to hide robot details in car mode. I hope you like it. Please feel to comment and ask questions.

I dont love the idea of G1 colors on movie Jazz, but you definitely did a good job painting him.

    Fantastic!!

I've been hoping for an official G1 repaint of this figure. If we ever get one, I hope it's As good as yours.

Niiiiice! Not sure if it's the paint job or just how much better the SS version is better than the original deluxe but this is one of the very best G1ed movie Jazzes I've seen. Great job! What shade of blue is that for the stripe?

Thank you for all of your kind words!

prime326 - Thank you! I wouldn't mind bayformers colours if those were more... colourful. That's why I like to spice things up a bit with G1 scheme :)

    Stormvapo - Thank you!

warhawk - I am glad you like it, thank you :)

Blurrz - Thank you, I always try bo bring up as much detail as possible :)

Prime Noble - Thank you very much! I would actually love Hasbro to put a variant of figures from 1st movie in G1 colours. That would be quite cool.

Shepard Prime - Thank you! Studio Series mold is pretty cool, so the results are much better than on the original deluxe, which was quite bulky. The Blue I used is Tamiya Metallic, I believe it was X13

    shiftypenguin - Thank you!

I had to look at this five or six times before I could post because the attention to detail is staggering. Major kudos on a wonderful custom!

Awesome!! The rear fender detail is a nice touch. The toned down main stripe looks like it would actually work on screen in the movies. I wish these Jazz and Soundwave colors were actually used in the Bayverse. Soundwave and Jazz both got killed off too soon.

The Fallen - thank you! I am always trying to bring up all of the awesome details that those figures have. This is what separstes them from g1 designs and makes them unique.

ThunderDestron - thank you! About fender - I wanted to do something different with it, glad you noticed :) . I also think that slightly tonned down version, as this one would work for movies pretty good. I would love the designs to have more details and variety, as I think this would compliment the intricate engineering that was put into them.
