No longer a WIP anymore, he is now fully cured and complete. Oh yeah...dang it...the decepticon decal - that'll be on soon too, I actually got a great deal for some excellent quality decals or water slides on ebay through a guy named, Frankenformer (thank you sir)! Anyway, this commission is done and has been painfully prepped for forever and a day to cancel out all rubs during transformation. I present Cyclonus with Nightstick in both modes of transformation!
love the colours! what paints are you using? ill have a spare cyclonus soon so i may attempt a toon accurate one!
Thanks for the comments guys!! Nellie, I am actually using enamels on this one. I used Natural gray for the gray tones, custom mixed the orange color, boyd red for the eyes, ford engine blue for the blue accent tones, and then custom mixed the main color with violet, white, and arctic blue.
Very nice, with alll the detailing, it is hard to beleive that this mold has all that detail that gets lost on the original. I thought you had did something with the thigs at first but it was jsut the paint bringing out the seems. Looks very good.
Wow man really nice. Looks just like the g1. That gun looks awesome lol, I can't get over how cool it looks. How you come you haven't been posting alt modes on your other projects?
Thanks Iron! Haven't posted up alternate pics yet cause either figures are drying/curing or some aren't made with alternate modes like my custom Motormaster (voyager class rotf). I'll post up alternate modes for both this one and my other commissioned Magnus tomorrow.
