Which of the two death you think it's more painful? most gruesome and brutal as both of his were made without mercy? I think G1 Starscream's death was more brutal and gruesome, as Galvatron executed him to take back what's his

 

G1 Starscream got blasted by a cannon, after which his already dead body crumbled into dust. It is worth noting that his Spark is immortal, which means he actually didn't die.

Movie Starscream had an eye taken out by Sam's grappling power glove, the OTHER eye taken out when a time bomb (with a defective timer) got jammed in the other eye, the fact this whole scene with Sam and Lennox swinging all over the place gets hilariously dragged out, torturing Starscream as he can't even lift off because he can't see where he's going, and then at the end Bumblebee come in and saves the humans as Starscream's head BLOWS UP. I think Bumblebee shoots him mid-jump, too, but not sure.

Either way, I say Movie Starscream got the more painful death because he had crap shoved into both eyes, had to endure it for at least five or so minutes in writhing agony, and then had his head blow up. Disintegration looks like a MUCH better way to go, honestly, especially when your spark is immortal.

 

Movie Screamer's death was all the more humiliating. He went down to a damn human.

 

Since G1 Starscream was living the pain as Galvatron's blast hit him, I say he got it bad and Movieverse Starscream's death was just pathetic...death by a human.

G1 Screamer got it easy. Instant death, vs getting a claw in one eye, overpowered firecracker in the other. I'd hate to down that way. Kinda felt sorry for him too, as I felt Starscream shoulda got a kickass one on one (or two) before going down.

 

G1 Starscream's death made my jaw drop as a kid watching the movie. After all those time's he tried to screw Megatron over he finally got it. As an adult watching Bay's Starscream die I felt a bit embarrassed for him.

Bay's Starscream was rather embarrassing overall, the way he acted like an Igor kinda character. Sniveling and lame. G1 Screamer told Megatron what he though of him to his face.

 

G1 Starscream's death could be described as one of the most memorable moments from TFTM. Yeah, it was instant death, but so were all the others that died in that movie. But when Starscream crumbled to dust, that pushed it right over the top.

Bay Starscream was just sad. He showed up in part 1 being such a badass, and now he can't do anything. It's just sad. His death wasn't cool or jaw dropping. It just sort of happened.

 

I think g1 Starscream was overall better done. We had more material to get attached/hate him over the years, so when Galvatron finally put him down, it was like the straw that broke the camel's back, he'd finally had enough. As a 7 year old, I thought it was really cool, and even though I liked the character, I remember feeling like he got what he deserved.

 

Movie.

 

Yeah exactly what I was going to say G1 Starscream had balls to stand up and tell Megatron that he isn't a great leader and that he doesn't do anything to destroy the Autobots

I hated the movie Starscream and his death, like the film, was pathetic.

 

Movie Starscream's death was way more awesome than G1 Starscream's.

G1 Starscream simply got disintegrated, but Movie Startscream got both his eyes basically gouged out, was a screaming wreck for 30 seconds, and then got a huge chunk of his head and insides blew up.

 

G1 was brutal. Movie was friggin' hilarious.

 

I have to go with G1 Starscream for the win.

Movie, easily. He had a hook AND a bomb shoved into his eyes, while being pelted by bullets (which probably hurt like BB guns, and those fucking HURT). G1 Screamer got it easy.
