Not any more! This is rather...strange. Is it just left over stock from five years ago? Anyone here order anyone of these Starscreams? And if so, maby you could let the rest of us know which version it is?

It's the Encore version being sold through TRU by a third-party source. Same reason they could be found at Target.com and Walmart.com.

It's Encore Starscream. Do a google search for "Distributoys" (from the toy description) and "Transformers". They are apparently import and resell Transformers Encore toys.

Wow. And I thought that TRU's prices were ridiculous before.

Also, since we're seeing a lot of these encore imports, is there any chance to see Hasbro do a domestic release of these? It would make sense since Walmart, Target and TRU have had such toys offered through their websites.

Seriously doubt that. Much of the relevant info is in Japanese, they don't conform to Hasbro's regulations (think Megatron!), reissues have failed more than enough times, and Hasbro's not involved in these being imported anyway.

Whaddaya mean ya don't wanna pay $60 for a toy that your parents probably paid $12 for back 24 years ago?
