I have looked with no success & seek help. I have a broken head & seek to replace. Is this reasonably doable? It is not as obvious as other repairs for him. Anyone have experience?

 

I've done a few repairs here and there. Nothing for Soundwave specifically though. How is it broken? Can you upload a pic?

 

Pictures coming - the head itself is fine. However, it sits on a post & has that swivel joint when you transform him to lay it flat in the slot. It has broken off that swivel joint. I did have someone pm me to state it was a post the head was on. I did not know if, once you unscrewed etc. that this spot was accessible to replace.

Follow-up: Anyone ever need to repair the door mechanism for Soundwave? When I swapped the head, there was an L shapped metal piece that came out, not attached to a spring. I am looking to understand how to repair this to make the mechanism function again. Thanks!

 

Bump: Anyone out there run into this one? I now have to repair 2 Soundwaves so curious how to fix this issue.
