So this may be posted in the wrong section. But does anyone happen to have a G1 Scorponok repainted to a Black Zarak?? If you do would you mind posting pics?

Hahaha, I don't think anyone in their right mind would try moving a Black Zarak, let alone sell one. Those things suffer from GPS, which is a shame because it looks badass and I wouldn't mind one either. *single manly tear*

Some one would be rich is they figured a way to dip the gold parts in some solution so that they won't break.

This is why i wanna get a scorponok to black zarak conversion done. Black zarak is not worth the money even if the gps problem didnt exist.

Someone posted a picture of their Scorponok custom made into a Black Zarak in the 'Generation One Appreciation' thread. I don't recall who posted it though. You might ask around in there.

A few people did it, quite successfully, after someone cast a short run of repro helmets, spears, for BZ.

,...and the person who did the casts isn't doing it at these days, sorry.

Edit: If you believe the rumors, which appear to have some basis in fact behind them, BZ will be reissued next year anyway.

Actually, Darkov just has a full set of BZ repro parts on ebay last week, went for about $200.

I was tempted to get them and repaint my spare Scorpy.

i understand thank you for the info. And to my understanding of course Encline no longer accepts commissions correct?
You seem to be pretty deep in the customs world.. would you be able to recommend someone who could handle the conversion with the same quality as yours?

Yeah, he's no longer taking comissions.

I've worked with a LOT of the artists in this community. I almost hate to reccomend anyone, for fear of inslulting everyone else :lol

But, I'd definitely reccomend Spoonman (Pretty sure he's looking for work, and that man can make ANYTHING happen)

solrac333 is also one of my favorite artists, his paint work is FABULOUS, and he's done a number of huge figures (like 2 or 3 Primus'es, a few Unicrons), he might need your help to source the parts, but you won't go wrong with him either.

(For the record, I'm picking these gents, because I know they're still pretty active, and have done comparable work, love to all!)
