My God, I've not posted something in Radicons for years... G1 Starscream custom, based on the Robot Masters Ltd Black Figure Ō exclusive from 2004 Made from KO Starscream and Thundercracker parts, G1 Ramjet torso, and G1 Skywarp wings. A LOT of parts swapping, but no paint needed The cheap way to do it would be just get a KO Starscream and spray the red and blue bits, but I didn't want to compromise. And here's the inspiration
A bit more info... So, the cheap way to do it is to buy a KO Starscream and Thundercracker, swap the parts, and spray the torso and a set of wings black. The KOs even come with factory stickers unapplied so you've got the stickers you need for the wings once they're painted. They way I did it was to use a beaten G1 Ramjet and a KO Starscream and paint the few parts black, but guess what? The modern KO is not the same mold as the G1, they're completely different, likely CAD generated form an original in hand, but there's enough discrepancy to make them incompatible, most specifically then plate on the inner arms do not work. Me though, I used G1 Ramjet, KO Cracker/Starscream, and a set of G1 Skywarp wings, so there's no compromise or threat of paint chipping outside of the torso itself.
