Curious why bombshell and the new retro Optimus aren’t at robot kingdom yet.

First experience with these molds. Recently bought Legacy Shrapnel so this I my 2nd time completing insecticons. I like Bombshell (so cute that he peeks his head out in-box) but the yellow/silver paint is sloppy as hell and I had thought his legs spin around so they're not hollow. Does he have soft ratchet joints or is it stuck paint?




Try 4 for Filch was a success. Surprised Walmart didn't cancel her again and write an IOU note cause they pretty much refused to give her to me lol.

 

G1 Bombshell does not have spin around legs. You'll break him if you try.

 

If they were, RK site would have dropped a... Bombshell. I'll see myself out...

It’d be nice to see this in person so I could snag the original G1 Ramhorn for the first time and not have to deal with Walmart’s website. (If not, there’s always the Studio Series 3-pack releasing next year.)

 

Did this ever get released at Walmart? Saw the link posted twice but it’s never worked. No announcement at Collector Con day. No limited numbers on Pulse.

Has this actually been officially listed/ released yet? Or did a few people luck out by ordering on a random listing?

I don't know, every time there's a pre-order from walmart its the friggin wild west, even if you did pre-order they can always cancel for no reason. I never saw any 'official' release of this one. I wish there's no more exclusive for walmart, or any retailer, for that matter.

 

I'll pick this up when it's more widely available, but I just can't get over what a bizarre combination of figures this is. A Deception tape would have made more "sense", I suppose, but it also helps bulk out the ranks for Blaster. It's just a strange set. Nice looking, but strange.

 

Got mine, he's really nice. The chest is still die-cast. These colors look very good on him.

Man I hate Walmart. Not sure why some of you are saying these retro reissues shelf-warm. Evan from Hasbro said they are selling well and I have never seen one on the shelf here. It's also a huge pain to order them from the Walmart website. As far as I know neither this set or Prime have been listed in Canada yet. And when I ordered Blaster and Soundwave I had to make the order as a guest for it to work! If I was signed in to the Walmart site it wouldn't let me put them in my cart! A fellow board member on here told me about that or I would have never been able to order them. Walmart's web site is a joke.

 

On the app, I get "Walmart deals Oct 8-13th"? there a chance these will come back then?
