So I’m working on a Ram Jet figure that I just picked up. And I noticed that he has tail fins attached to his legs. But I’m pretty sure, and a lot of pictures confirm this. That he’s not supposed to have them. Any thoughts
Ramjet didn't come with tail fins. But, he uses the same base mold as Seekers who do have tail fins, so the holes to mount them are still there. I just checked my G1 Dirge reissue, and it's the same thing. A previous owner must have taken the tail fins from another Seeker and attached them to Ramjet. I'm guessing Thundercracker, since he had black tail fins while Starscream had blue and Skywarp purple. Personally, I'm surprised because I distinctly remember opening my Thundercracker as a kid, following the instructions saying to remove the tail fins, and them snapping off because they were glued in. Anyway, free tail fins.
