G1 Perceptor stamping variation?

    I've been going through the process of adding my duplicate TFs into Shmax and I am making sure if they are actual duplicates or if they are different variations. So I am looking at my 2 G1 Perceptors...

    Fred's Workshop specifically mentions that there are 3 versions of the Perceptor body:

    And a picture showing the Takara vs a Hasbro/Takara (can't make out if it is Japan or Macau):

    However, my 2 Perceptors only partly fit into this description. I have 2 different Hasbro/Takara Made in Japan versions. (Sorry for the angles, getting a clear pic of these were tough)

    First here is the Hasbro/Takara Made In Japan. Note the clear "1974" year on the Hasbro stamp. Also notice the large blank rectangle on the lower back that was were the original Takara stamp would have been.

    Now my other is almost the same except 2 (3) differences. It is still a shared stamping, and made in Japan. The "74" is blocked out from the Takara stamp, and the "1974" is blocked on the Hasbro stamp. The raised rectangle is not present.

    So anyone have any ideas about this "blocked out" version I have?
