I was wondering if there were movie figures that had G1 color schemes. I got the Evasion Prime and would love to get other movie figures that had the classic colors. Anyone know of the figures they released like that?

DOTM Cannon Force Ironhide
2007 Rescue Ratchet (and probably DOTM Specialist Ratchet)
2007 Voyager Starscream

I'm sure there were a lot of legends-sized with G1 colors as well

 

There is also some G1-colored Dinobots coming out in Japan, as well as G1-colored versions of Leader Starscream and Ironhide.

Wow, Hasbro has reprinted a lot of movie toys in g1 colors

 

Thank you all. This is more then I expected. I wanted to do a the core team of Autobots from the movies in their G1 and it looks like the sizes are going to run the gauntlet. There is a Voyager Ironhide I saw that is close, so I might go that route. Thank you all again.

 

You can use ROTF Swerve as Sideswipe since he's in the G1 red color

 

None of them have been done really well ; meaning, they were done less tastefully than they could have been done imho.

Overal, I'd say the G1 deco's should have been applied in more subtle ways ; such as more subdued G1 color hues and not so blatantly splattered all over the figure.

 

I quite liked the repaint of 2007 Voy Starscream into G1 Thundercracker colours. Different head too. Didn't the DotM Dlx Starscream also get a Thundercracker repaint? Same for the RotF Legion?

Dunno if you wanna count Cyberverse Commanders Guzzle and Powerglide too. More direct remakes of the G1 characters than just repaints. Legion Flak is sort-of a homage to G1 Micromaster Flak. Ish.

HA Basic Drag Strip is in the same basic colours as G1 Dragstrip.

I'm sure there are many more.

 

DOTM Skywarp is lovely, but a bit on the pricey side.

 

DOTM Thundercracker is one of the well executed exceptions. Skywarp is so so imo.... maybe a bit too much lilac...
