    Well, local Walmarts have definitely been restocking - this one is the winner, though. I genuinely LOL'd when I saw this.

    The price didnt drop because of the goodness of Hasbros heart. they were clearanced out. 70 some bucks was the actual retail price for Devastator.

    I hit 4 Walmart stores today hoping to snag G1 Gears and Warpath (success on the fourth and final store) but the 2nd store I hit had 23 reissue G1 Optimus Primes:

    Sure would be nice if the Walmarts here felt like carrying toys once in awhile.

    No, it's alright, keep stuffing the stores where all the penny-pinchers shop and I'll just pick it up on clearance in November.

    This. I keep checking this thread hoping to see news of the price starting to go down like the previous reissues. I don't want to pay $50 for a trailer-less Prime, but if it drops to around $25, I then wouldn't mind picking up one to open so I can keep my TRU reissues set sealed. I've got a couple of spare older trailers I could put with him.

    Yea, I think $29.99 is my buy price. I have the crappy 25th, the commemorative in its box, and various stages of G1 originals, but I like these boxed figures. Bought all the others and have versions of them, as well as two sets of the minis, so I figure keep it rolling.

    In a Texas Walmart, I saw about 20 on a shelf, and someone in China or that store had helpfully damaged every single one of them.
