Didn't even notice it has the long stacks.... as long as they don't fuck up the head like on Bumblebee this is such an insta buy.

That G1 bio is going to be super awkward now. Kids are going to be asking "Well, where's the other two autonomous modules?"

Easy pass for me. It's a little cool, but if I am paying the Vintage G1 prices, I might as well get an overpriced trailer and Roller too.

I wanted a trailer less prime for my 80’s MOC collection so bad, as the full box is too huge. So I ended up making my own, but this may replace it. I just wish this release would have been in bot mode too.

I'd buy one. Would be cool to display a white Prime alone next to the full Ultra Magnus.

The trailer would put this in the $60 range at minimum. I know what I paid for previous reissues over the years but this is to be sold Walmart in the era of 75% off at Ollies.

Where are you getting $30 from? Has it been confirmed that the cab alone is $30?

Reality is that the last few reissues have gone for $40-$100. Yes, I know, that upper end had a comic book and a DVD but the lower end was from all the way back in 2001. You're still looking at $60 minimum in 2019.

Really wish this was a complete reissue. All my misb G1 prime reissues got damaged in hurricane Sandy in 2012. I still have them but the are pretty bad.

You just said $60 for truck plus cab. This is likely to be $30 based on prior releases

I for one am grateful for the trailer-less release. We’ve had a million re-releases of G1 OP before, that are still available. This is something cool and different.

Honestly, the most interesting part of this reveal is what other bots are coming in 2019 that we don't know about.

C'mon Hasbro, drop us some info.

I'm very ok with this. I avoided the previous reissues because they were too expensive and I never had any interest in the trailer.

If this bugs anyone, you can pretend this is him just before transforming right after his trailer mysteriously vanishes.

As someone pointed out on Ben Yee's FB page, selling Prime this way makes a ton of sense from a retail standpoint as it takes up way less shelf space but emphasizes the thing most nostalgic adults are going to be the most interested in (the figure).

Saying $60 for the set doesn't say anything about the price of a separate components. In fact, given that Hotrod was sold for a little over half the price of every other deluxe car in the past, that would put the cab alone at $50. I think it'll be $40 myself.
