    I respectfully disagree sir.

Not including a trailer and charging a larger class of toy's price is most certainly a point people should be "bitching" about. The trailer is a key component of the toy. There is also nothing to justify the price level above the Hot Rod toy (which wasn't cheap to begin with).

The pricing and decision to not include a trailer is going to impact sales, which will decrease the likelyhood of future G1 releases.

I just said scrap it, and bought a KO for 35, not because it’s cheaper, but because it has the slaggin TRAILER , and reviews said it’s just as good

besides i only really care about having a few g1
toys, soundwave, starscream and hotrod which i have
and Optimus prime who i just ordered so all thats left is Megatron and possibly shockwave
because it would be highly illogical to not consider shockwave

The trailer is ok. The cab/robot is not. So I guess you’ll be fine.

It looks EXACTLY the same size as the Hot Rod box!
That's going to make it a tough sell at $50 for sure.

The copy I have is all around fantastic. Totally worth the $35 shipped that I paid.

The copy I have has a hard time staying together in cab mode, has a problem with one leg staying straight in robot mode, and has stickers that will literally just fall off over time. But that’s the cab. The trailer didn’t seem to have any issues other than sticking a bit when trying to open it. I did buy my KO about ten years ago however, so I can’t speak for anything recently made.

I think the KO's have gotten much better quality in recent years. Probably why so many people just wait to buy the KO's now.

That’s the problem then, back in the time of the stone wheel and the Dinobot ko’s were made for a quick buck and were an obvious scam, but moddern day ko’s are generally well made and meant to last, so people are willing to buy more

That depends. Some KOs are good, some are crap. My Headmaster warrior KO set’s quality is actually better than the Spike Headmaster Takara made for Encore Fort Max a few years ago. But my G1 Shockwave KO is a floppy mess.

With this figure being out in Taiwan already, I really hope we'll get some side by side comparisons with some other G1 Optimi soon.
Curious to see if his blue is the same as the original figure or closer to the Encore reissue or Hasbro's 25th anniversary release.

a Big Mac isn't currently $25 and only comes with 1 patty though. That's what this Prime feels like right now. If it gets sub $30, I'm on it. If that never happens, I'm never gonna own it unless someone gifts it to me.

No, but the buns are smaller and the patties are smaller. Nothing today has the "value" of yesteryear. Granted, it's not usually to this extent, but yeah. People need a dose of reality.

No offense but that’s hilarious coming from someone on a board about fictional robots from another planet made to sell toys

I mean people come here because they don’t want the dose of reality
