Check this out.........1985 Hasbro Transformers AFA 95 Omega Supreme MISB 1/1! - eBay (item 250425468144 end time Jun-14-09 13:31:59 PDT) To the best of my knowledge......If this sells for half of the asking price, it will be the highest price paid for a single G1 toy. Definitely not something you see everyday. A box that large pulling a 95 from AFA is incredible.
damn...where the hell did he have that stored for so long for it to pull a 95? i am utterly impressed
25,000.00??? I wouldnt pay that much even if a gun was held to my head. AFA and CGC is just to elitist for whats been deemed collectible in nature. One guy I knew had divorce papers handed to him by his wife after finding out he had bid 20,000.00 on a CGC 9.3 Amazing Spiderman No 1.
Have to say it is a nice omega. But I want to ask how can it get a 95. What's the AFA stand. Do they lower it. Around 2002 - 2003 I have seen several Omega which box is even better than new Encore reissue. But the highest they got is 80. I really want see that AFA 95
Can anyone tell me if they have ever seen an original G1 score a 95? I crapped at Brian's toys 90 metroplex but a 95? WTF? I've never seen a G1 graded above a 90 ever.(not to say they don't exist) It certainly reaffirms my belief in the toy mafia. This sure puts that 85 Omega fiasco a couple months ago to shame.
oh hell no $25,000 for one transformer is insane and i thought the guy who wanted $150 for just the box from a botcon set was nuts oi
Remember guys, you can always post a Best Offer. You never know, you could win it with an offer of $15,000
Some high-end collectors want and can afford high-graded AFA items. People who don't collect AFA items or can't afford to, should not hate on those that do collect AFA items.
^^^I was wondering when this guy would show up. Someday, I will be able to afford high-end AFA items. I will buy them, and open them
You know I'm always creepin'! One day.....I also might be able to afford the same high-end AFA items!
This stuff always goes down in value over time when more and more AFA's get graded and come to market.
