For whatever reason, I've been thinking about this project for the past two weeks.

It sounds great, Jimbo, and is super appreciated!

So when do the Season 2 and 3 projects start?

Marvelous work. It's currently downloading to my phone now, but I can't listen to it as I'm on my way to work and I left my headphones at home.

I hope that the sheet music/other related info is available so that one day, a fresh reproduction can be made, either with live musical instruments or faux digital versions at least.

Unfortunately despite 4 attempts on different browsers I can't download it past the 13% mark.

Any chance of a mirror server or putting it on Bandcamp ?

At least one of these tunes (disco theme) predates Transformers and was strictly a Marvel debut. I absolutely remember it from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and those cartoon rights found their way to Disney, possibly even before Disney got Marvel itself. Same composer maybe? Definitely a longer version for Transformers, but I wonder if it will make it to the Sunbow soundtrack. It's probably my favourite track here, so all the more reason I'm liking this release.

This is incredible work. I can't believe how well you were able to isolate and restore these tracks. Thank you for doing this!

Also, I never realized the volume of work that Ford Kinder and Anne Bryant composed for this show. It's amazing how much effort went into the original cartoon.

Truly superlative work, very well done! :thumb

*awaits a slew of fan-films featuring these amazing pieces* :D

EDIT: It really is only just sinking in how much effort went into the original music, after all these years. Astonishing.

This is great!! I wonder if an official release (if it even happens) would have so many pieces?

For everyone asking about seasons 2 & 3/4, he's basically been gradually working on every piece since he first began, but initially focused on everything that first played during season 1. Now that it's finished, he'll turn his focus to fine-tuning season 2 and then season 3/4. He hasn't set any dates, but the hardest part's already over, so I'd modestly guess everything will be out there by end of Spring 2017 at the very latest. Hopefully sooner than that, but given how well Season 1 turned out, I'm in no rush.

If Hasbro & co. do come through with an official release, I'll be more than happy to buy it, but till then, this is the next best thing. Possibly better if what they release is incomplete.

Can someone mirror this? I've downloaded it three times on my Android and none of my audio players will play them. They all say invalid media files, despite them being wavs.

    Awesome!

Is my mind tricking me though, or someone's going to release an official score soon for G1? I swear I remember reading that.

They certainly don't make them like this anymore!

It fits perfectly with those hand painted still backgrounds they used in the show.

I have heard the rumor, definitely not as concerned about it now though.
