Sounds like a worthy project. Plus it's not asking for a ridiculously high amount so it's easily attainable.

Speaking of G1 music, whatever came of that TF music/theme some woman was taking legal action over a while back? Or did I imagine that?

 

Back in 2006, Anne Bryant, who is co-credited for the G1 theme song alongside Ford Kinder, sued Sunbow (at that point owned by German TV Loonland) for royalties.

I... have no idea whether that might have been one of the reasons for why TV Loonland ended up in severe financial trouble and eventually sold off the rights to Hasbro's shows back to Hasbro for a laughable $7 million USD in 2008.

Why? They aren't planning to sell the restored music or anything, as far as I can tell.

 

There was no action taken when the other clips were released. If the real music ever gets released...then there would be a problem.

I think a lot of this music is on the bonus CD's with the original laserdisc sets

I'm still holding out hope for a proper soundtrack release someday (yeah right! lol) but this will do.
