shameless plug!end in 2 hours!cheers
no shame in it,this needs to go for more than it did on e-bay.
I totally agree
haha no guys i was more than happy with the result, ill admit iv seen ones go for a lot more that, well lets just saydidnt blow my skirt up but hey its a custom mp at the end of the day,i start getting nervous when they get to these prices for a 10 inch toy!i think it will nevr live up to the price!
im just glad i got over the 500 mark and had a blast making it,cheers
you deserved more,fo' sho'
cheers bud,but i swear i thought i was pushing this at 500,i mean this really is the simplest paint job iv ever done!and once i figured the build issues out (and there was a few...) this was simple in comparison to like say a devastator
anyways im hoping my omega supreme will do well when its finished haha.cheers
I never consider MP cutoms as just toys, they are pieces of art. Just like this one. Highly collestable art, at that...
Well done mate!
god yeah i mean it is art and anone who says otherwise is out of there mind but im just trying to put it in perspective its still a toy at the end of the day even though yes its collectable ect
i dunno maybe im downplaying it,i suppose its a different expierience for a buyer, hell i remember bidding on other peoples customs and obsessing over them!i still do!
I obsessed over one before but it went way out of my price range, thats why I put my hand to kitbashing. I simply wanted what i couldnt afford that one that was already made. The Mp Swoop I first wanted, I just accidently came across it on ebay whilst looking for the latest Masterpiece. As I drewlled over it I noticed parts in it and then realised it was a self made model. It imspired me to build one myself. I owe it to Heirofthedog for his work that got me into this cool hobby. His sold for just over £1,500 (about $2,400).... Im from a Gundam model kit builder and painter in my growing up days, so that helped me give it ago myself. To be honest though, it took me 2 or 3 weeks before I braved cutting up a Takara masterpice to build Swoop. It was a point of no return, but it was well worth it, I can say that now..
There are quite alot of top quality basher with a high level of skill
How did you get into kitbashing?
