I recently bought a new high end G1 Shockwave KO and while the overall quality is good, one of his legs doesn't properly lock into place in robot mode so he slightly leans to the side.
Is this a common issue with the KO version? I've read this happens with the vintage non-KOs but at least those are old and have been transformed many times.
    Would appreciate any input.

The legs on my KO Shockwave spin free around the steel axle, no friction, it's very annoying.

I got one awhile back to test it, and at first I thought the legs didn't lock. I tried pulling a little harder on them, and then they locked better, so mine stands upright without a problem. However, the laser nozzle came undone from the gun arm, and I had to superglue it back together. I've got my KO Shockwave next to my authentic G1 Shockwave, and I'm thinking the authentic version did have better quality control.

I'm pretty sure it's a problem with most of them, if not all. I was thinking about getting one a while back and every review I could find mentioned the same issue. It's actually the reason I decided not to get it.

    Damn.
Sounds like mine's no different than most.
    Appreciate the feedback, guys.

one of the feet on mine was abnormally tight, so i took that section apart, fixed it and now it's okay.

still, i keep mine in its box. i like it better that way.

I opened up the leg on mine, wrapped some electrical tape around the metal shaft to create some friction, and now he works just fine.
