Wasn't sure if I should have posted this here or the Kitbash section. But I recently got a hold of an old loose G1 Jetfire. My question is: How would I be able to get rid of the annoying "yellow" that's on him? Chemicals? Paint? if so, what kind?
the only way to get rid of the yellowing is to paint over it, the yellowing is a side effect of age and sunlight and its the chemicals in the plastic turning yellow, so unless you have a time machine, your only option is to paint over it, but in the end, if you do it with enough patience, it can look better than it ever did good luck man
Krylon Fusion paint. Tape off what you dont want painted, and then spray JF. My sister used the Fusion paint on a couple of car parts, and it came out so sweet, not even joking.
I just fixed up a junker Jetfire the other night, so I'm thinking of doing the whole Evil Jetfire repaint. Although with the reprolable situation the it might not work out.
you would be Ken had that second stroke (transrepro)... he's barely ok, apparently with help he's trying to fill old orders. reprolabels, on the otherhand, is ok.
no, they should get them out to you quickly, but if you ordered from transrepro, which is PARTS, then you may never get them, if they even take an order.
I know the labels are shipped quick, it's just now I gotta justify paying 28 bucks for repro lables, while I paid a total of 15 for the Jetfire itself.
Yeah, reprolabels will ship out fast. I just got some things today I ordered from them not even a week ago. Oh yeah, and if Transrepro is not able to fill orders, why are they still taking them? Mike
