Why would he do that? He would still have to be the final value fees then. Those aren't exactly cheap when you get up to that amount of money. That's over $15 in fees right there. I think, more than likely, some idiot went ahead and offered him $130.
Maybe someone came across the auction and saw all the offers we've been putting on it (or at least, the number of offers) and is either extremely naive or of limited intelligence and thought it must be a very desirable item. Maybe they just bought the guy's bullshit and thought they were getting a good deal because they didn't know any better. I guess as much of a tool the seller is, there must be an equivalent buyer out there. Sad. Very very sad.
Holy shit, that thing was bought? For $130?! That's just sad. thanks, but that won't do it, for this one
I don't think the Seller even bothers. The auction's closed, he had a Buyer for his ware & that's all that matters. What can the bulk of us do? Especially when there's a willing "victim." Let it die...
It didn't sell...if you look up WOW, OLD BANDAI ROCKET TRANSFORMER ,WOW , JETFIRE TOY in completed listings, the price ($130) is listed in red, indicating that it didn't sell. If it had been an actual sale, including a Best Offer, the price would be green. MIKE engledogg
You, sir, are correct. It appears he lowered the BIN price, but then decided to end the listing (or 30 days had passed). I'm glad he didn't sell Jetfire for that price. That makes me feel somewhat better.
So no one's being made a s#*ker? Shucks! Those Buyers on eBay are certainly missing a "Holy Grail" there! They'll be kicking 'emselves in the nuts to pass on an offer like that one.
