But I saw this and maybe a reissue of g1 box jet fire? The mold seems the same as g1 jet fire with minor tweaks. Is this possible? For the encore collection? Or is this a generations jet fire? The BBTS said they will show more info when they get it. Maybe they borrow the generations pic?

Just seeing the word "encore" got me all excited, cause it's been well over a year since Fort Max was released and not a single peep about if we'll ever get any more. Come on Takara!!

But I knew there was no hope based on the rest of the thread title...."G1 Jetfire?" That is the ONE TF that will never, ever, ever be reissued by Takara as a TF.

The Jetfire mold was reissued around 2001 I think? By Bandai maybe. Some of those might be floating around somewhere. Not cheap though. As Macross toys, obviously.

 

Thanks for the info, my only hope to get a encore version of this guy is either takara or a ko version of him with his g1 box. It's my most wanted TF since I missed this one as a kid. I only missed out on two most wanted characters. They were fortress Maximus and jet fire. Finally bought the Maximus. Now I want a g1 box art jet fire! I wil keep waiting. Someone must make one sooner or later.

It was not released in Japan, but it was not a US-only release, as other countries did get it.
