My suggestion on supports: just don't. Cut the thing in half (L/R) and print them laying down. Glue the pieces together and putty/sand the seam. You'll get a much better finish than you ever could with supports.

Agree with Snaku, guns and long objects like this in general tend to work better cut in half and laid flat on the plate. Learned this when printing out Macross valkyrie gun pods. Great design btw!

    Looks good man!

I've had moderate success printing high aspect ratio models upright. Bed adhesion is vital though, and you better have your speed/accel/jerk dialed in to get those tight arc segments looking good.

I use blender. It's free. It's not exactly intuitive to cut things I'm half though. Not sure what the easiest program for that is.

Maybe Meshmixer. It is also free, and you can easily do things like cut objects up, put different ones together, or hollow objects(not as big of an issue with you FDM guys!)

Awesome work! Great job on the design. Tinkercad is great if you are willing to play around with it.

Sorry it's meant for main line figures there will also be version with a 3mm peg but it's designed to go with 5mm peg figs, it's also not finished as i am busy with my other work, I also don't own mp10v i only have Mp-10 when i get back to this i could try but i would need the dimensions of the handle for the original blaster. Thanks for looking!:)
