I know this has been done before but here is my version. I love how good his arms look once they're all silver. The orange was testors gloss, the blue/purple was my own mix. The shovel piece (not exactly G1 I know, but I didn't know how else to get a hood on him) was from a NeoShifters part. I also drilled his hands so that he could hold 5mm guns, though I didn't give him one. EDIT: followed Superquad's suggestion and photoshopped the images to lessen the red, re-upped.
The PCC mold has oodles of potential as an update to G1 Huffer. I'd love to see a pic of him next to RTS Windcharger (assuming you have one).
I really dig the plow idea! And the headsculpt was a great choice too. Oh yeah and even tho I've said it before, your Milne-mus Prime Rocks!
Never even seen one in the wild. I'm beginning to think they really don't exist, they're just some internet conspiracy thing.. Lol, I forgot about the headsculpt! That's energon Strongarm's head on there, for those who don't know. I felt it was more "Huffer-like" and it didn't take much to mod it to fit.
This mold with paint and the head swap pulls off a good updated huffer,you did a great job. I was really thinking bout doing this for myself BUT with i-gear's one coming out and me liking there design and price soooo much,it's saving me from starting ANOTHER project. Again good job dude!
This looks like really neat work. The plow is an interesting idea for him as well. I'd recommend doing some adjustments to your photos, as they're a bit on the red end of the spectrum overall. That's a pretty simple fix in Photoshop.
I totally agree with using this head. I entertained doing this Huffer, and using the same head. However, I won't do it unless I can pull the hood / cab up to encompass the head like the cab does in G1.
Yeah, I can tell you worked on em The giveaway is Prime's thighs. Instead of being gray, they're orange-ish. If you use Photobucket, you can adjust your images there as well.
Ah, the snow-shovel part is the perfect addition because it makes him look like his G1 counterpart where there's something over his head. Nicely done. Don't be afraid to add extras in like this. Alt modes were meant to be tweaked. The bot mod looks really nice.
