Spike and Cerebros usually from what I have seen. but the other small bits go for a pretty penny as well.
From experience my top 3 most expensive and hardest to acquire would be... 1. HM Spike 2. Cerebros 3. Gun for Cerebros
With Fort Max, its more a case of paying a lot vs being hard to obtain...to put more bluntly, its harder to get those parts for a decent price. LOL. I would have to say Cerebros is probably the most expensive from what I have seen in auctions. There again, I bought my Fort Max complete with the box, so I didnt have to go through that nonsense..but oh well.

who or what is cerebros? is it a head robot? as for spike thank goodness for the ko set. i have that one now. i bought the ko 10 piece hm head set. was cerebros in there as well? i didnt watch headmasters yet. but i will soon.
and your Megaboltus Maximus achenemy is chips! but fear not! One day you will get cerebros, you may go broke doing so but i know you will get it. to be precise Spike is the head of Cerebros who turns into the head of Fort max thus making him the only double headmaster. and cerebros is not in that set as he is considerably larger than a standard headmaster.
Still?? I'm sure you have other priorities because he's not that bad dude. I mean you've been missing him for about a year now, and I know I saw a few pass by on ebay...
The main body is not difficult to find and you can get one for $100 to $400 depending on the condition and what parts are included, such as the various doors, arm, hip and leg cannons, etc. I just picked up another Fort Max (just main body) for $300 and I may decide to complete it or sell it for what I bought it for.
Honestly though, I'd just save up and buy a 100% complete one. In fact, that is my suggestion for any character. (Unless you get a ridiculous deal like guard_convoy got on his FM.)
I agree with you. It's always a great feeling when you buy a TF that's 100% complete. Once in awhile I'll pick something up that's incomplete that I know I can easily find parts for or just simply on an impulse buy because it's something cool and hard to come across. For some reason, anytime I come across a Fort Max at a local convention or trade show... I just have to have it.
i must have gotten blessed for helping little old ladies because i got my Fort Max complete from the Toys R Us parking lot for $150. (employee that was moving off to college sold it to me!) i wanted to buy a spare Spike/Cog, but don't have to, THANK HEAVENS!
Spike was the most expensive component for me to complete mine. With the KO headmasters set out, I'm so glad I got mine years ago to ensure mine is authentic. It makes it harder now to differentiate real vs KO if you are only relying on an online purchase.
so i dont have spike/cerebros in my ko 10 piece head set? i know there was some spike in that set, any link to pics on this cerebros/spike head?
