$14 is a bit steep since all I need is the face and would never use the rest of those stickers.

I wonder if a Radicon makes the face.

there has been only one suggestion made that even could remotely fit in with classics and that is overlord, and well, that's because that toy is bloody the hell awesome

all the rest would just look glaringly out of place

Cassettes with the exception of Frenzy and Rumble. Ravage, Laserbeak, Ramhorn, Steeljaw, Eject, and Rewind all look pretty good with modern toys from what I've seen.

Everything else looks sorta out of place.

Blaster looks great in any era, and not sure if he can be improved upon.

I'm kinda okay on the G1 cassetes.

But, really, if a person isn't willing to accept WFC Soundwave in classicsverse and they prefer ML SW instead, they might as well just throw G1 SW up there.

    Overlord. Wish I had him.

Honestly I don't think any of them fit with Classics, even Overlord as awesome as it is...

Fort Max works well enough in city mode with scouts or Legends. Deluxes don't look awful with him, but they won't be fitting anywhere.

In bot mode, he works fine just standing there being tall.

Ohhh - thought I was the only one who did this - ok, let's see:

    Fortresss maximus
    Scorponok
    Trypticon
    Metroplex
    Omega supreeme
    Predaking
    Skylynx
    Insecticons
    All the dinobots
All the casettes (Frenzy and Rumble with the upgrade kits)

And then depending on what you want from the other gestalts you might get that to work for you

There are quite a few G2 that do, though.

I don't really think G1's really "fit" in with the overall aesthetic of the Classics line, but I do have the downsized Sixshot KO with my Classics Decepticons. I can see how the City-Bots could look well displayed with them though.

On a related note I think Cybertron Metroplex works well as a Classics Metroplex in robot mode, and I was thinking of trying to pick up Energon(?) Omega Supreme to stand in as a Classics incarnation.

I have to agree as well. If nothing else, the charm of Classics seems to be the older characters with some kind of update, whether that's in design (which is typically the case) or added poseability (typically through customization of some sort). With taking a G1 figure, the poseability quickly become apparently when contrasted with a Classics display.

The combat hero Megatron seems to fit that bill pretty well. :)

Cyberjets. Need I say more? Potentially? All those Machine Wars autochangers that were meant for G2. I rest my case.

Not G1. Quite a few G2 figures can fit in, like Hero Megatron and the Cyberjets.
