G1 - DVD Audio Track Info?

    I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I was wondering if there were any DVDs out there with a less updated audio track than the Rhino ones? (esp. season 2)

    IIRC, there was an official Chinese release of the complete show (that seemed to be region free)... and I believe it did not have the kooky "5.1" audio. It also came with a Robot Masters figure... the audio was in English and I can only assume that its possible to disable the captions.

    I could be full of crap though. Can someone verify or refute this?
