Commemorative Ultra Magnus (New Version) - Transformers Reissue Transformers Hasbro Commemorative

Judging from what we see here, Magnus has long stacks and short missiles. No in package images, so I'm still a mite skeptical. At any rate, make of it what you will. They are all separate listings from the 2004 TRU reissues, and all labeled as (New Version).

    EDIT****

HOLY CRAP, It would seem that reissues are coming in full force.

    Astrotrain
    Optimus Prime
Powermaster Optimus Prime w/ Apex Armor (God Bomber)
    Soundwave w/ Ravage and Laserbeak

Ultra Magnus and Soundwave are IN STOCK, the PREORDERS are up for the rest.

We've known about this for a little while, i think.

All re-releaes, and all imported Hasbro Asia releases, probably.

Why reissue them when they so easy to get?

Because aftermarket prices aren't particularly cheap and Hasbro would like to make the money instead of eBay vendors?

Full disclosure: I ordered the Astrotrain reissue immediately after news of it broke because $55 at BBTS beats $100+ on eBay any day of the week.

Those are some pretty high prices for Hasbro-neutered reissues.

Afraid we've known about these for a while, but thanks for sharing. They are new runs being done for the Asian market, not a full-on return for the Commemorative Series.
