Heavy/Scratch: G1 CLASSIC: OPTIMUS PRIME w/4 modes and over 70 p.o.a

    I will have a few gallery in the next couple of days... I have A LOT to shoot.

    This is the Prime I want, and still want for my classic collection. I have been wanting to do this since I was like 4.

    MODE 1: G1 truck :Just two more panel lines where the forearms now transform.


    MODE 2: G1 brick bot: Head sits a little higher with a plate around the "neck"(which I need to make a little bigger to fix the floating head look) And the thighs are thicker. Rebuilt those with styrene.

    Mode 3: "CLASSIC" look w/fully articulated (40 p.o.a.s) hands. pull legs down a little and pull arms out some. Move chest forward. Rotate the sides of the bumper back a little.

    Mode 3.5: Newer "classic" look. Pull shoulders out and up, flip down forearms to shorten them, place hands in second set of peg holes. Flip back the upper arm that is on a hinge to make the tricep area even with body.

    Mode 4: Extreme Animie: Higher shoulders, telescoping smoke stacks, and a new head.

    Articulation: Double Ball joint neck, shoulders, hips and thighs, waist and chest(with double swing hinge joints inside.)
    Each side of the bumper is on a swing hinge/ball joint.
    Feet are on swing ball joints.

    Painted with House of Kolor urethane base coats and kandies. Aclad chroming. Them some little details to finish him off. Thanks for looking.


    And HUGE Props to RENDERFORM for making such an AWESOME G1 AXE!! It fits sooo well with Prime..

    Holy crap! You really did it! The trick with the wrists is really the crowning glory, and the extra joint in the torso really gives him some oomph! This G1 classic has updated rather nicely!
