I'm not sure that this has been posted yet, but if not, this is a pretty awesome thing that Jim Sorenson has done for fans sharing PDFs of scripts from the show. So, a few years back, several Transformers fans worked together to buy some Ron Friedman scripts at auction, digitize them, and post them. Since the original postings are somewhat lost to the sands of time, Chris McFeely and I made sure to get them all back up where they should be easy to find. Here's the google drive link: Transformers Scripts - Google Drive If you've got more and want to share (or just have a good lead), let us know and we'll make it happen.

This is some interesting stuff - especially the TF The Movie script: OPTIMUS PRIME My time in the light has ended .... (reaches up with right hand with great effort) In accordance with our tradition, I now summon my successor . Ultra Magnus! Give me your hand, old friend .... This is very similar to the line that Rodimus said in Season 3 after wanting to pass the Matrix to Springer. OPTIMUS PRIME (voice failing, pressing on with it) You and I battled the Decepticon~ hordes across the corridors of time itself. I know you will continue that struggle .••• (sags, gasps, hanging on) My life Spark! .••• Transfer the spark! Looks like the TF life Sparks were being considered in this movie long before Beast Wars (which took this from the comics)
Huge thanks to Jim, there are some priceless historical documents for the Transformers fandom here. Terrific stuff!
If anyone wants too do readings and record these I'm game to do it with you! Dibs on Soundwave, Shockwave and Grimlock though!
Decepticons looked more ruthless and not giving a crapftm in t. Unicron had more of a bigger role I think.
I think vince dicola\'s protoform sessions can give us a look on how the early script is would\'ve been, if music had been provided, the early script is a lot more mature and more violent, I think no one would\'ve seen this and wouldn\'ve been a r rating if possible, but the tftm I know is the best
Awesome stuff. Gonna get properly stuck into these. I have the script to Atlantis, Arise! It's a fascinating accompaniment to one of my favourite G1 episodes.
Ah, yes, nothing says "This is a children's movie for advertising children's toys" like an R rating. Also Did... did you have a stroke? I haven't even started to peek at the scripts, I'm more interested in the internal marketing material. Does anyone know if there's any more of that available? It'd be really interesting to see how they distributed product and developed marketing.
Yeah, that explains a lot. I remember watching Five Faces of Darkness, and Rodimus's dialogue there sounded grandiose, but unfamiliar. It confused me when Arcee said that Rodimus was now speaking the words that Optimus had said when he was on his death bed. I remember hearing about the original script or maybe reading it as well. As we can see, Optimus's dialogue on his deathbed was different from what was scripted.
I own scripts for Roll For It and both parts of Desertion of the Dinobots which I love to bits. So much insight into episodes I love. I\'ll certainly enjoy reading other scripts I didn\'t get!
Wow, first we get treated to deleted audio from G1 episodes now we can see the actual scripts of some of these. Its a great time to be a G1 fan. Thanks for sharing Jim.
