Ok I just bought a MIB reissue Blitzwing and noticed the broken white-ish color was darker and more pinkish than what I had seen from books and the internet. I couldn't determine whether it was sun fading or not.

I found one on a Dutch auction site which resembled mine a bit:

    Marktplaats.nl > Transformers G1 Blitzwing - Verzamelen - Verzamelingen en Collecties

In robot mode you can see it. Mine is a tone darker than this even.

So could anyone enlighten me? Is this normal? Or is this sun-fading? Any insights would be appreciated.

Well... the picture of the Blitzwing you found on Marktplaats doesn't seem that strange to me: the main colors tan and purple like it should be. I have an original G1 Blitzwing and the colors look the same as this one. A picture of the one you own would be a lot more helpful by the way.
In fact, your description of the color as being 'broken white' puzzles me slightly. I'd describe Blitzwing's color as tan myself. Are you perhaps thinking of the Diaclone version or Overcharge? Those are in a color which could be described as 'off-white'.

Yeah, broken white is not really the color, silly me. So no I didn't mean Overcharge (which I do own and think is awesome by the way:) ).

Here's my own picture. It's not so clear unfortunately and it's still darker than what the picture is showing:

Maybe it's just me, but I am fairly sure it should have been much lighter in tone.

Hard to say, I haven't really kept up with reissues, but personally that looks fine to me.
