    Hello everyone!

min trying to repair my G1 Autobot Tracks Lower legs. The metal strip mechanism (inside his leg) was not allowing the car mode to be all nice and snug and so I wanted to see if I could fix it. Pleas let me know if there is any way to fix it or if y’all need any more photos! :)

Ps. Are there any forums that have already covered this but I can’t find them.

Let me grab my Tracks down and take his leg apart to see what I can see.

You just reminded me that I need to open up mine and fix his leg. It’s probably the most common problem with that figure.

Once it's like that it's pretty much done, attempts at straightening out will cause it to snap. Sometimes it will freeze up and you can just flip the piece. You can remove it and it should work pretty much normal. I think they removed the little metal strips in the reissues as it gets more in the way than anything.

So update on taking mine apart. I have a reissue and still have the stickers on the lower legs covering the bottom screws. Those stickers will not go back on if I take them off, so I can't help... Sorry.

Just happened to be working on mine today. The good leg has a wire with a little more angle bent into it than yours..

Meanwhile my problem is, the "bad leg" does not want to lock into the extended position. Wire looks fine, anyone else have an issue where theirs won't stand under its own weight?
