With all the talk of Paddles, my choice for a seventh Dinobot would probably be a velociraptor named Slice. Maybe an Ankylosaurus named Slam?

When you can combine dinosaurs with robots can you ever have enough? Just so many dinosaurs I could think of that would make for some really cool dinobots.

It would be cool if there some sort of raptor in the mix. Sort of a mini-dino-bot.

WST Paddles figure from Justitoys please!

Then they can extrapolate from that and make a full G1 figure. And then go one step further and make a Classics version! It would be madness! Hot Sexy Madness!

    My Dinobots Special Forces Reserve:

Paddles - Team Leader - Underwater Specialist
Slash - Raptor - Stealth Recon
Slam - Ankylo - Heavy Weapons
Sneer - Dimetrodon - Telecommunications Expert
Swift - Parasaurolophus - Explosives Enthusiast

But naming him "Splash" would imply that he's absolutely useless.

If there's ANYTHING I've learned from the pokemon games, it's that Splash is useless.

Neither is Paddles technically. Plesiosaurs are marine-reptiles, & aren't classed as dinosaurs (neither are pterodactyls like Swoop really)...but who's complaining.

True, and logically, the Dinobots, at least in the Marvel comics, should have upgraded to new alt modes after being rescued from the tar pit.

    I never knew that.

If there was going to be a sea Dinobot, I vote for the name "Slosh".

But really, a sixth Dinobot is just unnessecary and cheesy in the same vein as a "The Beast". The thought of someone's fanwank Dinobot showing up and hanging around Grimlock & co. just makes me cringe.

I think a Dinobot based on a Spinosaurus or Utah Raptor would be cool.

I wouldn't want another prehistoric beast that isn't a Dinosaur in the Dinobots. We already got that with Swoop.

    We need Paddles.

Also, an Ankylosaurus would be a good choice as well. At least he would be useful on land.

EDIT: Reading the above post, Spinosaurus! I never even thought of that! That would be awesome.

Dimetrodon falls into the same category as the sabretooth tiger idea - they're as much proto-mammals as they are reptiles. I know it's nothing new to have non-dinosaurs be Dinobots, but still.

My vote is for a pachycephalosaurus - could name him 'Slammer' or 'Smasher' or, if you feel like giving him a more complex name, 'Skullsmasher.' Also tossing my hat in with voting Grimstone and Paddles for G1 Dinobots.
