If they were to create a 6th Dinobot what kind of a dinosaur would it be and how would they name him? I like to think that the logic choice would of been a Raptor and his name would of been Slauggernot Anybody else with different choices?

I'd have rather had an Ankylosaurus one. Maybe named Strike.

Actually read the wiki for paddles. Really makes me sad for him. WTH is up with autobots not wanting to dig up their allies or look for them?

Paddles needs a better name, but an elasmosaur seems like a logical choice, as it's pretty distinct from the Dinobots' other forms (well, maybe not Sludge), and gives them bit of a aquatic support.

If a raptor, then please an unrealistic one. Since it is known he had feathers, I don't like raptors anymore :(

Does anyone know if Hasbro is aware of Paddles's existence, and if so, have they ever thought about making a figure?

Cool custom, though, as a Dinobot I would have the same problem I have with Power Ranger's Sabertooth Tiger Dinozoid: they ain't Dinosaurs.

It's still an extinct creature. The Dinobots don't fit into "Robots in Disquise" in our human time frame either but we still accept them. That's what makes imagination soooo cool.

Paddles seems like an obvious choice.... if you want to give him a more thematic, monosyllabic "S" name to fit with the rest of the Dinobots, "Splash" seems like it would work.

As others mentioned, an Ankylosaur ("Slam?") or Raptor ("Slash?") would work as well.
