    Do you think they do a crossover just like in the comics (Marvel, Dreamwave and a Devil's due) but instead a movie? Do you see Bay and Chu working together?

    they were supposed to beginning with Transformers 2 having Hawk (Dennis Quaid) in it as the leader of NEST.

    I believe the universes are indeed shared though nothing direct..more kind of vague references.

    I don't think so. Doesn't the Eiffel Tower get wrecked in both RoTF and GI Joe?

    I've heard that one of the names on the figherjets from the first movie when Lennox comes back and they pick him up at the base.Was a gijoe pilot,Ace i think it was? I've heard of a couple more,just can't remember what they were.With the NEST team idea,it is just begging to be turned into gijoe.Seeing as how Matt Tracker is part of gijoe now,it could be turned into the MASK division of gijoe.

    I've read a few reports that it would only happen if both franchises flumped - I believe they said under $300M profit for either film series. Then they'd look at ways of improving the films via famous stars (in the case of G.I.Joe) or a potential crossover.

    I've always thought a spin-off film could be possible as a reboot or alternate universe take on the series - but I don't think we'll see it until both G.I.Joe and TF have run their course... something like the following.

    Theory Timeline;
    2007; Transformers 1
    2009; Transformers 2 & G.I.Joe 1
    2011; Transformers 3
    2013; G.I. Joe 2
    2014; TF4
    2017; TF5 & G.I.Joe 3
    2020; TF6
    2023-2026; G.I.Joe Transformers Spin-off/Crossover

    Unlikely, but there's a bunch of thematic overlap between the two franchises already.

    Are you sure about TF5 and TF6?
