Replace Duke with Hawk and I can get on board. Also need a Stalker at some point. Maybe save Roadblock, Duke and Storm Shadow for a 4th wave, since they debuted together (in the comics and Duke as a non mail-in figure).
I would love a 6" line for GI Joe, but I'd prefer it more in the style of POC or later updates were done rather than being a rehash of the original ARAH figures at this point.
Same. PoC and the 30th anniversary line are the best Joe figures ever produced, imo. But for a 'Black' type line, maybe it does make sense to go full nostalgia with Sunbow/Marvel designs.

Stalker narrating the movie or GTFO. Being mute, even when he could talk, has always been a core aspect of Snake eye's character. One time I remember Hama letting him speak was when Scarlet was shot in the head by the Baroness. Overcome with grief at her beside, he struggles, but says her name.
This, plus don’t give him a name and don’t show his face. They could do this for at least part of the movie (flashback sequence) and have Lonzo narrate that part, like you suggested.
Until the accident, Snake Eyes could talk normally. Just injure him early on so he is mute the rest of the film.
One would think having a mute character would make for an interesting plot, hell a fantastic opportunity to write the story in a clever way. Not just solve it by going back in time.
But we know that won't happen. Producers will take the easy way out. 3/4th of the film will be talking SEs, then the very tail end costumed mute SEs.
Hama makes a big effort to never even let us into Snake-Eyes' thoughts until the final issue. He messed up once in an early issue by having Snake-Eyes write notes, but other than that, Hama kept him a closed book.
