I'm guessing Storm Shadow and the Baroness are a guarantee, but i'm hoping for a cool looking CC.

Aren't they counting their chickens before they've hatched?

Not really considering they have a whole Hasbro cinematic universe planned. I doubt this will shit the bed like the Dark Universe did.

Lol. Every attempt to bring GI Joe back has utterly failed. Why would this time be any different?

Yeeeah but Hasbro's live action movies are generally either mediocre or terrible. The last Joe movie was boring as hell. You could argue they've already shit the bed.

Every studio does this, maybe they consider it an act of faith in success or something.

    Snake-Eyes hasn't even released yet.

Of course, this may be nothing more than a ninja clan film, but I hope it's an enjoyable one.

I'm hoping they'll follow Bumblebee's pattern and cater it to 80's fanboys.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura - that's a name I was hoping not to see.

Bumblebee was a case of the big boys at Paramount burying their heads in the sand after getting a bloody nose from The Last Knight, and leaving Travis Knight to do his own thing (Bonaventura was apparently really concerned about that. But he did promise us more 'Bayhem' in the next TF movie.:( ).

I do want the new Snake Eyes/G.I Joe movies to be good, but after what happened with the Transformers movies, I'm not going to be too optimistic just yet.

And deliver a crushingly mediocre movie that comes off like a high school kid's creative writing project ripping off John Hughes? No fucking thanks.

Actually the toys were quite profitable for them. So I am not exactly sure what you mean by utterly fail. Except that you don’t know what you’re talking about.

So what's the word on this new GI Joe movie?
