I get being more picky considering the price of the figure, but the things you point out are BARELY different. The overall proportions of the figure are still pretty spot on in both modes. No figure is going to be absolutely perfect.

 

Man his Trex mode looks about the size of Beast Wars Megatron only....... Actually Beast Wars Megatron Trex mode is about 45 cm. I heard this guy is only 40cm?

Right from the start of the video the guy confirms its indeed 31 cm..... Sigh.. I guess its still better than the 28 cm that some people were saying.

Quite a involve transformation step.

 

That's sorta been the case with all their releases. I remember when Ultra Maxmas was first released people were repeatedly claiming it took an hour to transform him based on a video where a reviewer slowly and meticulously showed off every single step of transformation while going over the articulation. It definitely wasn't a fast and simple process once you were used to it, but it was hardly an hour long process for anyone not desperately seeking a reason to validate not buying him, either.

 

As of right now, I'm not sure. My main priority is TransCraft's Optimus Prime, but that hasn't been shown off yet, and will not be released until next year. I'll wait for some quality reviews to come out so I can gauge it's feel.

 

I see, atm I'm on the fence due to the extreme pricing since it's gonna be a $300 plus figure over here in Australia.
