GCI Toys posted photos of another new product their planning, this time a Rotorstorm upgrade for Machine Boy Vortex. Looks fantastic. No release date listed.

No, they haven't yet. They were going to produce it in America, but had setbacks. So last major update was it would be produced in China. All GCI has shown for their Gulper figure is a 3D printed prototype. Still no photos of a test shot, after a year.

 

Ha! I am paying Spoonman to do the exact same thing to my MB Vortex right now, but I might get one of these kits just to have a backup Rotorstorm.

 

Is the plastic quality on Machine Boy Vortex good? If so then I kinda really want one.

Well I'm intrigued, though this mold is a bit too big imo next to generations springer and mmc impactor

Well, there's also the Brute weapon sets GCI announced over a year ago. No real update on those either, just the old 3D printed prototypes.

For anyone interested in pricing, @Dr. Killinger posted a rough estimate for $60 - $80 for this set, on Cybertron Cafe. He said once the molds are done, he would list the actual price.
