Planet X has graced me with the rare privilege of speaking with me. Now that they've branched out into the IDW scene with their PX-C line and announced their first two projects (Ismenios and Kadmos), Planet X would like to know what else would you all like to see done from the IDW'verse?

Keep it simple, clean, and direct folks. But have fun with it!

MMC's Overlord is a great figure, but I still want one with accurate IDW alt modes.

For Whirl, I think an asterisk mode with accurate colors & new hands for Turben would do me. Turben's a fun toy and a good figure, but there's no reason why he wasn't accurate except whatever MMC nuttery.

Star Saber would remold great into Black Shadow.

IDW have some of the sickest designs across the board and especially the cybertronian versions.
I really want that headmaster in Chaos I think where the headmaster has a tiger like robot mode.
Also, I think we're all missing a good Jhiaxus.

* dinobot strafe (Deluxe would be prefered, but voyager would still be a must buy)

* Stardrive (Such a cool concept that didn't get a figure?! What madness!! Voyager prefered)
* Victorion (perfectly fine with an actionmaster combiner because from what i've seen, only pyra magna has had major events by herself, but must have the optional faces)

Can I ask what they did wrong with Megatron? I thought Tyrantron was a well-liked figure. This is pertinent to my interests as I'm tossing up between Tyrantron and Gen Toy's Tyrant for an IDW Megs.

As for the thread proper, I'm happy with pretty much anything. I love IDW and I'm thinking of becoming a Third Party guy specifically to fill up that collection.

 

There's nothing wrong with MMC Tyrant. It's a really nice figure with a lot of accessories. The only negative is the alt mode isn't accurate, but they never showed his alt mode in MTMTE until after the figure came out. The figure itself is high quality without any QC issues.

GT Tyrant is a really nice figure as well. I wouldn't hesitate to get that one either. It really depends on the look you want.

MMC is pretty much the go-to company for IDW figures. Generation Toy, Gcreations, SSX, Maketoys, and Planet X have all dabbled in IDW, but none of them are consistently releasing IDW figures like MMC. MMC likes to put creative license on some of their IDW releases, but they are fun and most are really good quality.
