I wasn't sure if anyone would bite and answer that question. The essence is of course that the current media in which Arcee is pink happens to be the IDW comics from which the current and many upcoming Generations figures are not only inspired, but also cross-promoted.

I wonder if they would be so pragmatic about the process as to include a less recent Spotlight. From the pack-in comic's I've read so far (Trailcutter, Orion Pax and Megatron) - so far as I recall - there's not much in the way of a body count. Now while I could just suppose that this is for the sake of particularly younger kids and/or those uninitiated with the comics. However, I think that when interviewed by Vangelus at Botcon this year, it may have been Clint Chapman who said as much about the pack-in comics. I stand to be corrected.

While my comic collection doesn't extend to Spotlight Arcee yet, it wouldn't be too surprising if the themes were considered - right or wrong - to be relatively harsh. On the other hand, for all most of us know, the upcoming Dark Cybertron stories could be creepy, messily violent or nothing of the sort, and they'll be available with generations figures. If for some reason the powers that be wanted to release a Generations Arcee with a comic sometime in the future that isn't her Spotlight (which is one of a few eventualities), selling her with a crossover event comic installment would do the trick. That is to say, Dark Cybertron would have been a perfect opportunity to do this, if the toy was ready in time. The ones we are getting seem pretty cool for now though.

Depending on the validity of this rumour for one thing, if we get a Generations Nightbeat, Minerva could open the door for female Transformers in this line.

Tankor makes sense after all we are getting Rhinox. Wish Tankor was a voyager though.

Please make this Tankor be the BM version--although that should probably be a Voyager.

thanks to prime, our beloved pink Arcee might be forever gone.

its funny how bronies are able to pressure hasbro to release a white princess celestia while transformer fans still cant get what they want.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that Tankor is G1 Octane, since that's his name in the IDW comics.

I wonder if we'll just get Generations 1.0 Tankor/Octane with a more G1 deco. It's not like that toy has ever been repainted.

I wonder if we got Decepticon Crosscut instead of Autobot Crosscut who he'd could be a remold or pre-mold of.

    Good news!

I would like a better G1 Octankor more than a new BM version which would make more sense with all the triple changer love as of late. I'd like to see more Decepticons that use original molds.

That RID Rattrap that was hinted at would be gorgeous in toy form and bought on sight.

I could also see Crosscut being a Skids redeco and Nightbeat being an IDW Bumblebee redeco though I hope I'm wrong.

If they did a BM Tankor, he should be at least a Leader size. Supreme would be the best.
He is a big Vehicon compared to the BM Maximals.

TBH, to me that would be too big. I know some people are fanatics about scale, but I prefer the convenience of the smaller size classes (voyager and deluxe) for displaying and price as well.

I think Ultra class would be good too, would work perfectly with my old Beast Machines McDonald figures.
