Found the FNAF Walmart exclusive Balloon Boy yesterday. Rang up at $8.95, so that was a pleasant surprise compared to the SDCC Jumpscare Funtime Foxy from HT that rang up for $16. I have been specifically only collecting the FNAF exclusive stuff for my daughter, but after the SDCC releases and the chase Cupcake, I don't think I'll be able to get them all. Missed the Cupcake, and didn't see the other SDCC ones. The aftermarket on them is already stupid.
Saw an X-23 at TRU this morning. Unfortunately the box was beat up pretty bad. Also went to the grand opening of our new Box Lunch store this morning. They were handing out free gift cards to like the first 50 people, so between my family we ended up with $40 in gift cards. I picked up the exclusive Star-Lord figure for free basically. Plus I still have almost $30 in gift cards to use in the future.
Finally found a Juggernaut at Walgreen's, but the box was smashed so bad that I had to pass on it in hopes of finding a good one. Hope I don't regret that move.
Decided to go on a Funko Pop Hunt... To say I was successful is an understatement I was mainly out to get X-23 & Mera. So X-23, I tried ordering her when she went up with the A-Force set and other SDCC figures did but I missed out on her due to her not being available at the time I placed an order. So I found two of her today, one in terrible condition and this one in an ok condition. Got the Lord Boros to complete the One Punch Man series, kind of felt stupid not preordering him with my local GameStop like I did Genos & Saitama. And finally found the Justice League Pops! Skipped Wonder Woman as I already have the Wonder Woman Pop from the WW movie and couldn't find The Flash. Found these at Barnes & Noble, saw them at GameStop & Hot Topic too but never saw The Flash. Well that sucks but hopefully I find him eventually.
X-23 has been showing up now at both of my local TRU stores. I think I saw 4 or 5 yesterday. Really sucks that Barnes & Noble doesn't get in any more of their comic con exclusives. I so would've loved to have gotten that MotU Scareglow.
73 POP! figures (including 3 mini POP! keychains), 9 Dorbz (technically 10 but the Frost/Heat Miser duo are a set), one 3-pack of the Poro things from LoL, a LoL Mini (Lucian), a mini Dorbz Silver Foxy, and a Wave 3 Mystery Mini Nightmare Moon.
I've got 17 POP! figures, 4 pint size heroes, 3 ReAction figures, and 1 POP! keychain. Not a large collection, but that was my plan. It's actually been pretty easy for me to keep it under control. Edit: Correction, I have 4 ReAction figures. Was thinking of the three Star Trek figures I have, but forgot about Ghostface.
People mentioning how many POPs they had made me go and count... I have 59! And I've only been collecting them since February, and it will be 61 tonight when my POP order from Amazon comes in.
Was your X-23 packaged correctly? I was in TRU the other day and every X-23 there had the head in the in the plastic shell but the body was pushed forward and wasnt in the shell at all. I was hestitant to pick one up because i was afraid they were damaged.
The two I found had their bodies pushed off to the side, I really wanted her so I took the risk and bought one of them. Opening it to fix it though it re-corrected itself.
Funkos making Home Alone Funko Pops, Bigbadtoystore says November for their preorders. Had no interest in Kevin but I'm loving the Wet Bandits, such as the burn on Marv and the top of Harry's head scorched... Though from certain angles Harry does look like Moe from the Three Stooges, dang it now I kind of want Three Stooges Funko Pops. Also a series of Hellboy Funkos are on their way, only interested in Hellboy himself personally. Got Hellboy and the Wet Bandits preordered through Bigbadtoystore who I check daily for new Funkos which is how I found out about these. Also finally bit on the second wave of Wonder Woman Funkos coming out in December.
I'm right at 150. Most of those came last year when I was going crazy with them. I've really cut back on them lately. I have to say that the new Marvel Collector Corps box knocked it out of the park. First appearance Iron Man and Vision are fantastic figures.
Is there a way for people who don't go in on the Collector Corp boxes to get the Pops? I've seen pics of Vision & IM and was hoping to obtain them one day.
