    Yep. They did the same thing with a black and gold repaint of the MMPR Megazord on Hasbro Pulse, buying the NFT also gets you the actual physical product.

    I'd doubt it. The product itself looks good, but the NFT is entirely extraneous. For people who like to collect physical collectibles, I doubt a digital equivalent (one that is literally just data that can be infinitely replicated) holds much value, especially when it has no functionality associated with it.

    Yeah I checked price history and after the period to redeem the NFT for a physical item ended the prices of the NFTs dropped about 99%

    I guess Hasbro missed the articles about Funko firing their CEO, their stock price collapsing & their entire concept in an unrecoverable position at the end of it's life cycle through massive over extension & the fact they do stuff like this?

    You buy a digital pack of NFTs (5 NFTs for $9.99 or 15 for $29.99) and have a very small chance of getting a rare one that comes with the physical product redemption. Optimus is the "grail" of the wave, with a 0.28% pull rate. The other 5 physical redemptions, including Bee, have a 1.72% pull rate. Most people just get worthless ones. It's just digital trading cards with the NFT buzzword tacked on and the chance to win a physical Pop! figure. And if you collect the full set, excluding the physical redemption ones, you get a bonus physical Funko of their mascot in a Hasbro t-shirt holding a Simon game.

    Personally, I might buy a pack of 5 for shits and giggles, but I'd rather stick with trading cards I can actually do something with.
