If you may recall, I found reasoning behind the G1 Ironhide stickers. If you do not recall, here is the link to that post: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-general-discussion/438046-g1-ironhides-stripes-explained.html What I find VERY interesting is this photo I found on flickr. It shows a (mangled) 83 Toyota Hi-Lux. Take a close look at the stripe on the front part of the cab. This begs the question, what came first, the Toyota or the Diaclone? I think I answered that question with the above Ironhide link and I would assume Takara just used a top of the line sport model for the Toyota Diaclone mold but I have not found any other images. Maybe a Japanese Toyota Truck brochure? Anyone here fluent in Japanese to check out eBay Japan? I wish there was a better shot but I wanted to pass this onto you guys.
