From what I read, they will KO this G1 packaging, the only difference is the Jetfire image on the right will use this FG-01 toy image.

What about the Transformers script at the top?

I really wish that they would've left the Macross tampos off of the figure. Or at the very least the skull and crossbones off of the tail fins.

I love this picture most, probably will display mine in this for a long time.
I know G1 Jetfire doesn't have a pilot, but this is a nice cross-over too.

Not sure, all I read is the packaging will follow G1 packaging, but still in design.

My KC is just fiddly. I haven’t had anything break, and the plastic feels decent enough, but the hips are wobbly and many of the joints are poorly toleranced and don’t feel good.

Would anyone be able to show something of this size with the OSKO IF Cygnus? If it doesn’t match, could anyone recommend a better scale? Thanks!!

It’s quite a bit taller than KO Cygnus. Do you want something similar height as the Cygnus KO?

Here’s KO Cygnus with the Arcadia VF-1, which is what this upcoming Jetfire is a KO of.

and with a Bandai HMR VF-1

The Kitzconcept Jetfire will be closer in height to KO Cygnus, somewhere between the two I posted.

The learning curve may seem high initially but once you learn all the nuances it becomes pleasant to transform and the armor integration is very well done.

I’m okay with this, they made a better “Macross’d” Jetfire than Kitzconcept by integrating the decoes without compromising, so it comes off like a real-world Jetfire with subtle changes.

Whereas the Kitzconcept deco was questionable. This one is bigger and does more things right for what seems to be $100 or so less.

Man, I can't wait, the new pictures look even better. I hope Toyhax makes a set with Autobot symbols for the boosters.

I'm normally purely a CHUG collector but I think once I have this, I'll get one of the MP-style Jazz figures too so I can have perfect representations of both the main G1 toys I used to really want as a kid.

Is this the OSKO one? Someone mentioned it at the Harmony Gold panel at Botcon, and I'm game for an OS version if it gets made, and isn't C+D by Harmony Gold/Bandai...

No, this is a regular-sized KO of a 1/60 figure.

To add to Optimus1138’s point, this is a ko specifically of the Arcadia toy, which seems to have been the largest Macross ko makers primary target, probably because Arcadia is too small to try to actually fight back. The Bandai toys seem to have have largely avoided, which isn’t surprising since Bandai is much more aggressive to shut down Chinese KOs. HG is unlikely to try to shut down a small Chinese KO company for the same reasons as Hasbro; it being more expensive than the potential return to take action.

I've seen a bit of back and forth about the quality of the stand. What is the final word? I'm trying to decide if I should buy the deluxe or regular edition. I'll rarely use the stand, but I'm a sucker completionist, so as long as it isn't junk I'll want it.

The best determiner we have is the videos, and it looks solid in those.

Just on this, the one time Jetfire showed up in fiction with that body he was about the same size as Megs

I don't think any comparison pics have come up with him against MP Megs, but it looks roughly right for that?

Is this available for order anywhere other than ShowZ? I'd prefer to order it from a Chinese vendor it possible (because postage from the US to Australia is insane...).
