That reminds me, the technician told me they do a liftoff sequence for little kids after I commented on the space-ship like nature of the machine. I could understand a child being incredibly panicked by the machine though. It's creepy, loud and cramped. Too bad you had no panic button, I was comforted by its presence. Knowing I could push it and they would stop right away made the scan easier to bear. I was disappointed to find no laser was projected onto my face. Thank-you, I thought it was quite clever.
CAT scans are the lasers, as it only focuses on your head, while MRIs can check almost your entire body.
