I recently purchased this game on a whim and I think its a crime that more people are not aware of it. You basically are a commander of 1 of many unlockable ships. Each ship has grids for rooms and the rooms house engines or weapons etc. You manually move your ship crew around repairing systems, reverting power to certain things like engines to get out of a hairy situation faster, or remove power from health stations and oxygen to power your weapons.

I know I'm not doing a great job explaining this but check it out on steam. Its very fast paced and a true rogue-like game. Re-playability is almost infinite. I've gotten 30 hours and growing of entertainment for $10.

Anybody else been addicting to this game? Check it out here.

I love this game as well. I stumbled upon the game about 2 months ago and after some hemming and hawing I purchased it. I've also introduced a co-worker and his brother to our addiction as well. It's a great game that will run on any hardware. I have spent way too many hours evading pirates and trying to destroy the rebel flagship.

I finally beat the flagship on easy and gave stepped up to normal (which is basically hard setting). I've been focusing on unlocking ships now. Got the Mantis Type B and can't get passed the second sector. It's got awesome shields, 4 man teleporter and a boarding drone but no weapons. Which is a set back lol. Man I love this game.

I played it for a bit after watching the Giant Bomb quick look but ended up losing interest after a couple of hours like most rogue-likes. It was a lot of fun to start with but my enjoyment level fell off a cliff once I'd seen pretty much all it had to offer by way of mechanics. After that it was pretty much all repetition and luck.

Still worth the ten bucks though.
