Yea...but it's better for scoria to stop smoking and drinking. Sometimes stress causes it too.

I said loose limbs, but it would be more fair to say loose limb singular. Just his front left arm is a little loose. Everything else is fine.

Honestly I think these problems are just going to be par for the course when it comes to these larger and heavier figures as they come out. It should really take nothing away from what is a pretty solid looking toy with some pretty impressive details and design work.

Yeah, mine came like that too. I haven't fixed it yet but I imagine just a dab of glue would be sufficient.

    Not going to vote.

The limbs aren't exceptionally tight, but they're perfectly acceptable.

He does seem unnecessarily heavy, which can't be helping with the limbs.

    I'm happy with him.

I have a tiny scuff on one part of the chrome where it doesn't bother me, so I voted perfection. Sheez, I'll take that rather than waiting months or years begging TT.

mine's all good. arms are not as tight as id like, but they hold poses with the weapons. chrome looks beautiful. i can't really find any flaws in the bot. notice the pelvic plates are attached to the thighs, not to the waist like they are on Grimlock.

So, has there been any major issues with this figure, or is it just the odd looseness and minor scuffs?
He looks smashing to my eyes, but I still haven't decided to go FT or Giga.

Oh, and the poll is silly, come on.

The only problem that I have with my scoria is that he didn't come with the other four(5) Iron Dibots.

your sitting in a thread dedicated to monitoring the quality of this product and you say the poll is silly and then ask if there have been any major issues? that is pretty silly itself.

i was missing the normal red face and grimlock boots, otherwise hes good. the arms aren't super tight, but also are not super loose, he can hold most poses fine but i may end up putting polish on there if i ever pick some up just to make him super tight

I wanted to vote nothing at all but the chromed feet are very scuffed. Other than that though I'm fully impressed. The joints are strong enough one mine to hold poses so I'm happy on that score.

Only slight let down were the Grimlock "boots". Nice idea but they don't work as well as I'd hoped they would... So add me to the "make a Fans Toys Grimlock!!" brigade.

    And Jesus, he's big.

Lots of minor, but notable QC issues on mine:

-The gun electronics were broken out of the box. The on/ off switch would never turn off. I had to pry it open and mess with the wiring to get it to work properly. No points taken off, this was just bad luck and the factory would not have been able to spot this without batteries.
-Loose shoulders. This was fixable, but I had to take it apart since future polish wasn't enough.
-The tail does not lock in either extended/ contacted position.
-The head always pops off during transformation. This is more of a bad design than qc issue. That ball joint should have been bigger.
-Left leg does not fully ratchet in a straight position. It's just short of that last click.
-My biggest beef is the hips. The ratchets just aren't strong enough to support the legs. And the hips collapse too easily and there isn't a fix to this. They stole the design from MP Grimlock, you'd think they could have improved upon it with a locking mechanism. This isn't a qc issue, just lazy design. My Grimlock had much tighter hips than this too.

Overall, the issues are minor and there isn't a singular dealbreaker, but are too many to ignore. Compared to my Hasbro MP Grimlock, this figure is nowhere near the same level in quality, or even the same level of quality as a normal hasbro release of this size class. I'll still probably get Snarl, but most likely not Swoop.

Only issue worth mentioning on mine is that the sword will not peg into either hand. Not sure if the peg is too big or too small. Very minor issue and largely negated by the fact that the fingers can close around it quite snugly.
